Juli Wald grew up in New Albany and has lived in NC, FL, WY, and CO. As our new Library Director starting March 15, she brings experience from academic and public libraries, as well as management and retail. Her library experience began as a part-time circulation clerk at a large library system and it was there she discovered her love of sharing knowledge, resources, and serving the public. After completing her graduate studies, she worked as an assistant librarian, digital librarian, adult services librarian, assistant branch manager, and most recently as branch manager at Anythink Libraries in the metro Denver area. 

As a southern Hoosier, she is excited to discover Northern Indiana. She enjoys camping and hiking with her dogs, reading with her cat, and writing letters to people all over the world.

Wald earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of North Florida and a Masters of Library and Information Studies from Florida State University.
